Steve, Larry And Gogo RTP, max win & volatility

The key numbers for UK players: which RTP your casino may be running, why the max win in Great Britain is 6,039× and what high volatility means for your bankroll.

RTP versions

Red Tiger’s official RTP is 96.15%. bigwinboard reports four lower builds, and a casino may pick any of them:

RTP buildLong-run return per £100 staked
96.15% (official)£96.15
96.01%£96.01
95.07%£95.07
93.15%£93.15
91.12%£91.12

These figures are long-run averages calculated over millions of spins. They do not predict what one evening will pay — a single session on a high-volatility slot can land far above or far below them. What the RTP does tell you is the cost of play over time: on the 91.12% build you lose roughly £5 more per £100 wagered than on the official 96.15% version.

How to check the version

Load the game at your casino, open the menu and go to the paytable or info screen. The RTP is printed in the rules. If it is not 96.15%, you are on a lower build. That is allowed, but you are free to play elsewhere. The free demo shows Red Tiger’s official build, so do not assume your casino matches it.

Max win in the UK

Red Tiger’s headline max win is 12,393× the bet, but that includes Feature Buy. Its own disclaimer gives 6,039× without Feature Buy — and because the bonus buy is not available in Great Britain, 6,039× is the ceiling for UK players.

  • At £5 a spin (the UK slot cap): 6,039× = £30,195.
  • At £2 a spin (the cap for ages 18–24): 6,039× = £12,078.
  • At £1 a spin: 6,039× = £6,039.

Wins anywhere near that size come from the bonus rounds and are extremely rare. Treat the figure as a ceiling, not a target.

Volatility and hit frequency

Volatility is high. Wins can be far apart, with most of the value in the free-spin rounds and the Jackpot coins. The official hit frequency of 27.59% means a little more than one spin in four pays something, though many of those wins are smaller than the stake.

Stakes and max bet

Red Tiger’s spec runs from €0.20 to €500 a spin; casinos set the range in pounds. In the UK the max bet on online slots is £5, or £2 if you are 18 to 24. With high volatility, a smaller stake gives you more spins from the same budget.
